# Announcement Roles

A static plan note uses `role: "note"`, so a screen reader reads it in place and never announces it on mount. The success alert leaves `role` unset and gets the variant default, a polite `status`. The answer alert takes an element built with DOM calls as its `message`, so the policy link stays a real link.
