# Showcase

The flagship XWUIOverlayBackdrop demo. It walks through the default dimmed scrim, an invisible click-catcher for popovers and dropdowns, custom z-index stacking, and the `show` / `hide` / `toggle` programmatic API.

Because a backdrop is position-fixed and covers the full viewport, this showcase keeps only one backdrop visible at a time, hiding the previous one whenever a new one opens.
