Keeps the panel in `mode: "bid"` but sets `conf_comp.showHistory: false` so the bid-history list is suppressed even though the `auction.bids` array is populated - the panel shows only the current/buyout summary and the bid row. This suits a tense, high-value lot (current bid 8,750 against a 12,000 buyout) where you want bidders focused on the live price rather than the trail of prior bids.
