# Chat look

Setting `variant` (even to `default`) selects the chat look: the sender name sits inside the bubble, time and status on their own line, the quote, receipts and reactions are the shared chat leaves, and a toolbar appears on hover and keyboard focus. `markdown` renders the text with raw HTML off, and `blocks` carry tool calls, code, tables, notes, diffs, files, images and page-filled slots.
