# Compact Recorder (no live preview)

Hides the live camera feed with `showPreview: false`, leaving just the Start / progress / Stop & Save control row - handy when the recorder sits in a tight slot such as a comment box or kiosk. A `className` is added to the root so the host can size the compact shell.
